I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS.
Late 70s/Early 80s Disco Prince LYING ABOUT HIS AGE (he is 22 at this time, not 19) and HOLDING UP HIS HAND WITH 4 FINGERS IN DICK CLARK’S FACE instead of actually speaking the number “4” and acting in general, like a shy toddler in hot pants.
So Prince had to go on and mess with a classic (what’s new?) and released a 2011 version of the well loved unreleased demo Extraloveable today. Ten seconds of the preview was more than enough for me. Here’s the original, almost 30 years old. Still fresh as fuck. Okay, that’s a lie.. but sometimes you just need to leave 30 year old things well enough alone. They fine just the way they are.
